Everyone above 45 years are now eligible for Free Coronavirus Vaccine from April 1

Union Minister Prakash Javadekar announced that everyone above 45 years of age will be able to get Covid-19 Vaccine from 1st April 2021. Javadekar appealed to all eligible people to get themselves registered to get their first dose of coronavirus vaccines available for Free at Government Hospital and at Nominal charges at Private Hospitals.

While addressing a press conference, Javadekar said: “We have enough vaccine. All eligible people should get registered as it is a shield against COVID-19. We appeal all above 45+ should get vaccinated.”

The Union Cabinet’s decision to allow people above 45 years of age comes days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with several chief ministers over the rising cases of coronavirus across the country.
