KCR Again trying to DUPE State farmers: BJP

Hyderabad, Sept13 : Telangana state BJP president and MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar today reiterated that chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao keep deceiving farmers on one pretext to another pretext. Referring to CM KCR suggestions asking farmers to go for alternative crops as the centre is not eager to purchase boiled rice, Sanjay alleged that KCR is now levelling charges on central government to cover up his inefficiency in purchasing paddy from the farmers. CM KCR had assured that the his government would purchase last rice nut of the farmers, he reminded and  questioned whey TRS government is not coming forward to purchase paddy and blaming central government. He was addressing a public meeting at Pothamshetti village in Medak district on his 17th day of Praja Sangram Yatra.  Sanjay accused CM KCR of changing is words every day and deceiving farmers of Telangana. Some time he asked farmers to cultivate cotton crop and then changed his mind and suggested to do paddy crop and now KCR again asking them to go for alternative crop blaming central government, he ridiculed. Sanjay sought clarification from CM KCR why he has signed on a memorandum when central government had told him that it would purchase 60 lakh ton of paddy when the state would have bumper production of paddy. Are you not able to purchase 20 lakh ton of paddy to meet needs of people of the state, he asked and questioned why he has signed on the memorandum.

Criticizing the functioning of TRS government , Sanjay asked CM KCR what happened to his promise of providing double bed room houses to journalists as some journalists while discharging their duties  became victim of corona pandemic and the state government did not come forward to help them.

While developmental works came to a standstill, law and order situation is getting further deteriorated , he alleged and termed state home minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali as a “ dummy” home minister.

Strongly condemning the incident of a six year old girijan girl  who was raped and murdered in old city, the BJP chief demanded CM KCR to seek resignation of his home minister for taking moral responsibility for the incident who failed to give protection to people of the state.
