Hyderabad, Sept 14 :: Launching a scathing attack on chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Telangana state BJP president and MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar today said KCR should own responsibility for suicide of five farmers who took extreme step in fear when they were asked to go for an alternative crop instead of paddy.
Sanjay demanded CM KCR to apologize to farmers and questioned why the TRS government has failed to implement Fasal Bhima yojana in Telangana state. Fasal Bhima yojana of Modi government is meant to help distressed farmers. People should question ruling party leaders as to why this scheme was not being implemented in the state, he said while addressing a public meeting at Ramdas chowrasta in Medak town on his 18th day of Praja Sangram yatra.
Expressing concern on the prevailing situation in Medak district Sanjay said people particularly farmers have been facing several problems said condition of farmers was very pathetic.
The state BJP chief said the aim of his yatra is to know problems of people and to ask TRS government why it is failed to address people’s problems.
The success of his yatra which is getting tremendous support from people sending shivers to KCR, he said adding that false information being spread to confuse people that BJP and TRS parties have alliance. Sanjay clarified that BJP never had any alliance with TRS where as TRS had tie-up with TDP, Congress, Communist and MIM.
Later, addressing a press conference, Bandi Sanjay Kumar alleged that CM KCR has forgotten the contribution of Sakal Janula Samme and he never dwell a single word about this mass strike. What you have done to employees who have joined in this strike, he asked and said KCR and his family members have amassed properties worth crores of rupees after creation of new state of Telangana.
Raising the issue of RTC, Sanjay demanded CM KCR to take steps to protect RTC and its employees. The financial situation of the state is so pathetic that it has utilized Rs 1300 crores of RTC and even trying to sell RTC properties.
CM KCR should give assurance to protect rights of RTC employees and to full fill their pending demands, the state BJP chief.
Earlier, Sanjay began his 18th day praja sangram yatra from Medak town. The attraction of yatra began was Bonalu. A large number of women taking Bonalu on their head participated in the padyatra.
People from different communities including fishermen, Golla Kuruma association leaders and staff of Tractor showroom of Maruti Suzuki met the BJP president and expressed their solidarity with the party and yatra.
On the way Sanjay met women and asked about TRS government benefits who complained that KCR government had promised to allot double bed room. But they did not get it till now.
Dubbaka Karnalpalli sarpanch and ward members, Ibrahimpur up- sarpanch in Chegunga mandal Anjireddy along with some ward members and local MPTC members today joined in BJP in the public meeting.
Former minister Babu Mohan, Dubbaka MlA Raghunandan Rao,Padyatra in charge Manohar Reddy, S Kumar SC Morcha Natl Secretary, High Court lawyer Rajsekhar, district party president Gaddam Sriniva, state party official spokesperson Rakesh Reddy and other leaders attended the public meeting.
